DJ John Main is a professional entertainer based in Ethelbert, Manitoba, serving the entire Parkland Region including Dauphin, Brandon, and surrounding rural communities. With over a decade of experience in live entertainment, John brings a rare combination of technical expertise, community knowledge, and genuine passion to every event.
The Story Behind Maintec Entertainment #
John started his entertainment journey in 2012 in Midwestern Ontario, initially hosting “Karaoke with John” — community-focused karaoke nights that quickly became a local favourite. His events in Palmerston and Walton built a reputation for high-energy atmospheres, crystal-clear sound, and a deep understanding of what makes small-town Manitoba gatherings special.
In the spring of 2024, John relocated to Manitoba and quickly resumed hosting popular karaoke events at the Ethelbert Curling Club. As demand grew, clients began requesting his services as a premier Manitoba Wedding DJ, as well as for socials, buck-and-does, and graduation dances. To reflect this expanded range of full-service Parkland Event Services, “Karaoke with John” was officially rebranded as Maintec Entertainment.
